Ferrari 458 M 1-slider

It’s hard to keep a secret these days. The Ferrari 458 M was caught on yet another not-so-secret test run recently. Our insider claims the new stallion will be powered by a 3.8 liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering some 670 horsepower to the rear wheels making it more than 100 horsepower stronger than the current 458. That’s a lot of power but what about those new pipes?

“The exhaust pipes are also changed. Instead of the triple arrangement usually found on the 458, there are now two pipes more like the Speciale seen in the cut open rear bumper,” the source reports. Oh, what’s up with that bumper?

“Expect a newly styled rear bumper when it’s time for the public debut on the 458 M.” Okay, it better be good, but that won’t happen until the 2015 Geneva car show in March, so until then, watch this space.
