California is now offered with a turbo, and, as F1 has gone turbo (awful sounding!), there seems to be an increasing trend to apply the technology to their road cars.
Personally, as a 20+ year owner of the marque, I am growing less enthusiastic and more ambivalent about Ferrari, it's cars and its' practices.
LdM turned SpA into a marketing juggernaut, and Ferrari's brand name is one of the, if not the, most valuable trademarks in the world. So, I suppose whatever they're doing is working.
But, compare a turbo car to a NA and the sound of the NA will be so much more entrancing. For comparison, just listen to the Speciale. Wonderful sounds have always been a part of the ownership experience. In fact, that sound made up, in some ways, for higher prices and lower performance per dollar for their standard street cars.
We'll see, and I suppose I shouldn't judge, but I'd be far more happy with a NA.

Even when the V8 Ferraris went to direct injection they lost some of the "scream." A turbo's gonna make the sounds even more subdued/different. Definitely going to be powerful though.
While neither were regular production cars, I forgot to add that SpA has some experience with turbos in both the 288GTO and F40.
While the F40 doesn't really do it for me, I'm still kicking myself for passing on a 288. Prices have gone turbo...
