This Liberty Walk 2014 991 GT3 is ready to turn heads and turn corners.

If you’ve had your eye on SEMA the past few years, you’ll know that a major recurring theme is bolt-on fender flares. Bolt-on flares got their start in motorsports in the 1970s, and are back in a big way. The likes of Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk have reintroduced the form and aesthetic of widebody kits.

If, for example, you were to find a Porsche 911 – whose basic shape hasn’t changed much since its introduction in 1964 – and slap on a Martini livery straight out of the 70s, all it would take is a set of custom wheels and a phone call to Liberty walk to make your retro-futuristic dreams a reality.

It seems like someone did just that, utilizing a 2014 GT3 as the base car. Instead of seeing it at SEMA or a high-end car dealership, it’s being offered for sale by the owner on Craigslist of all places.

It’s pretty jarring to see a bona-fide show car listed in between beat-up pickups and econoboxes with bad transmissions. With just 4900 miles on the clock, there’s plenty of life left in it, and plenty of car show trophies left to win.

[Editor’s Note: I spy LTMW plates on the back. LTMW is a notorious Los Angeles-area bodyshop that has completed a lot of these widebody transformations. Their presence at SEMA is undeniable. However, I have personally seem some less than stellar stuff leave their shop. SEMA deadlines are real, so look very closely if you intend to purchase.]

From the factory, this car has a host of options – 18-way power sport seats, sport chrono with PCM, and premium sound, just to name a few. It’s been further upgraded with an upgraded stereo in addition to the visual modifications.

The owner is asking $155,000, which could be a bargain for someone looking to attempt a similar build. If you want a Liberty Walk 991, you could do a whole lot worse than the Martini livery on this car. Somewhat humorously, they also mention that the car has some of the factory warranty left – not usually what I look for in a show car, but nice to have nonetheless.
