Fashion icon and Porsche collector extraordinaire Magnus Walker to auction over 160 lots at upcoming RM Sotheby’s Auction.

When it comes to notable and famous Porsche collectors, there are a handful of names that come to mind. Almost certainly, if you don’t think of Jerry Seinfeld, your brain likely jumps straight to Magnus Walker. Known to many as “The Urban Outlaw,” Walker bought his first Porsche at the age of 25 after starting his fashion career selling customized clothing on the Venice Beach boardwalk. Obviously, he’s seen quite a bit of success and progression since then.

Now, though, Walker is ready to let go of some of his collection. RM Sotheby’s is hosting a “Magnus Walker: The Outlaw Collection” event March 18-25, 2026. According to the webpage, the auction will sell over 160 individual lots for Walker, including a handful of his highly collectible Porsches. From legendary air-cooled units to standouts from the modern era, this auction will be a grand opportunity for folks to get their hands on cool cars with unique heritage.

Why is Magnus Walker selling his Porsche Collection?

To be clear, it seems he isn’t selling his entire collection. However, a healthy portion of it seems to be up for grabs.

“I bought my first Porsche in 1992 when I was 25 years old. It meant everything. It meant freedom, it meant speed, it meant a dream come true, and it was the beginning of the next chapter of my love affair with Porsche…I’ve reached a point where this out-of-control hobby has sort of defined who I am in a way, and it’s kind of like shedding my skin and a new rebirth. It’s taken me quite some time to get to this point where I’m ready to let some of these cars go,” Walker told RM Sotheby’s in the auction’s preview video.

We can definitely understand that doing the same thing for too long makes it monotonous. In addition, Walker is selling his downtown LA live-in warehouse/loft in the arts district. So, it seems he’s set his sights on moving on to another chapter in his life, which we can’t fault him for!

What cars are up for grabs?

As of now, RM Sotheby’s has only listed eight lots on the webpage. More are coming on February 23rd, 2026, so keep your eyes peeled. So far, the listings are:

  • 1976 Porsche Carrera 911 2.7 MFI
  • 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo
  • 1965 Porsche 911
  • 1967 Porsche 911 S
  • 2002 Porsche 911 GT2
  • 1966 Porsche 911
  • 2004 Porsche 911 GT3
  • 1964 Porsche 911 Carrera “Flat-Nose” Widebody Conversion

Not only is that a list of substantial and phenomenal cars, but they’re also all offered without a reserve. It’ll be interesting to see who shows up to bid and how much these beauties all sell for! It’s a bit of a bummer to see the collection torn apart. However, we can take solace in knowing that they’ll likely go to owners who will continue to enjoy them.
