MY RIDE! A Silver Porsche 996 C2

Owning a Porsche is a big deal, as anyone could easily tell you. The prestige that comes simply from being a Porsche owner is immense, and that’s not even taking into consideration the joys of owning one of these magnificent vehicles. It is always exciting when someone new joins the world of Porsche owners. Though the experience is different for everyone, it never ceases to be amazing.

6SpeedOnline member Bernard (A.K.A. “bjk7911“) can attest to this fact, and today we’ll be stepping inside his garage and taking a closer look at the superb car that he has within!

In the past Bernard had mainly owned BMWs, so he was already a fan of German manufacturing before he got his first Porsche. He ended up trading in one of his BMW rides so he could get a larger vehicle, which ended up being a Subaru Legacy.

Despite being a good car, he found it boring and gave up on it after eight months. When going to a dealer to look at a M3, which he was considering, he spotted the 996 C2.

One test drive and he was sold, and he never looked back.

Bernard has done several modifications to his ride, including a Stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel, dipped wheels, and a muffler delete.
