Porsche is Restoring One of the Earliest 911s
The Porsche 911, suffice it to say that you know exactly what the car looks like when I say that name. I could say early Porsche 911, or new Porsche 911, but no matter what, you could identify it as a Porsche 911.
All that comes down to the heritage and engineering that originally started the brand.
Now Porsche has found one of the earliest Porsche 911s ever. The 57th produced to be exact, and due to the provenance of the car, the company has decided to restore this special 911 to factory new.
They even made a short film about the beginning of the process. In a short summary, it’s beautiful, and I don’t mean the film, I mean the car.
Staring at the hunk of metal that once was one of the fastest cars on the planet is just awe inspiring. It’s strangely beautiful in its simplicity, and I for one can’t wait to see it finished.
