Some Brazen Roll Racing Missouri Style

By -

When a group of high horsepower cars get together to go roll racing, it’s no surprise when they attract the attention of cops.

In this video from YouTuber 1320video, Kansas City is the scene for some big speed roll racing.

A Roll racing 800 horsepower GTR.
Highlights include two well-matched 750 horsepower CTS-Vs, both an 800 and a 1,000 horsepower GTR and some turbo Mustangs of mixed vintage. There’s even a stock Ducati that shows up to give a lesson in power-to-weight ratio.

There’s also some footage and audio of the 800 horsepower GTR having an interaction with local law enforcement. Despite the video’s title, it’s not that dramatic though. The officers play a bit of stern cop, nice cop before letting them on their way. The second one even compliments the guys GTR. Ultimately, the just cops recommend the GTR driver contact the rest of the group before highway patrol shows up and starts towing people.

Of course, the GTR drives away and promptly goes racing again.

His obsession with cars started young and has left him stranded miles off-road in Land Rovers, being lost far from home in hot hatches, going sideways in rallycross cars, being propelled forward in supercars and, more sensibly, standing in fields staring at classic cars. His first job was as a mechanic and then trained as a driving instructor before going into media production.

The automotive itch never left though, and he realized writing about cars is his true calling. However, that doesn’t stop him from also hosting the Both Hand Drive podcast.
