RUF CTR3 Is a Slab of Obsidian Hotness

Oh RUF. Ever since the CTR Yellowbird, we’ve been fawning over your cars teenage girls lust over Justin Beiber. That any company could take the already excellent 911 and transform it into something so familiar and so wildly different is amazing. This car, the CTR3, is the ultimate expression of that ethos.

The flared out rear haunches would lead you to believe that the CTR3 is built on the bones of Cayman. Truth is, the CTR starts out as a 911 before RUF get’s their hands on it.

This one was spotted at the super-car soaked Wilton House Festival in Salisbury, England. It’s flanked by a few other dream rides. Ahead of it is a Koenigsegg. Following it, a Zonda. That just gives you an idea of the kind of company a car like this keeps. With it’s boosted 700hp boxer-six, it’s not going to be left in the cold if they decide to go for a run either.
