The Spyker B6 Venator Coupe concept debuted earlier this year in Geneva, and now we can look forward to its open-top variant, the Spyder, which will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder concept will have the same mid-mounted 375-horsepower V6 and six-speed automatic as the Coupe concept. Do we smell an Acura NSX competitor?

The Venator features a carbon fiber body mated to an aluminum chassis. The coupe version is expected to go into production by Q1 of 2014, with U.S. sales kicking off in the fourth quarter of ’14. Prices will be in the neighborhood of $150,000.

If you’re wondering how Spyker came up with the car’s moniker, “Venator” is latin for “hunter”, which pays homage to Spyker’s early 20th-century Hunter airplanes.
