Ride Around Thermal Club in a Porsche Cayman Equipped with a 360-Degree Camera

360-degree camera offers best view of hot laps around Thermal Club.

Our friends at the Thermal Club sent us a rather neat video. Of course, The Thermal Club is the private motorsport facility and resort community in Southern California’s Palm Desert. With several different circuits and a myriad of other race car playgrounds, it’s the ideal getaway for the well-to-do track day enthusiast.

However, for those of us who have yet to go, it sure would be nice to get some scouting laps. Fortunately, the gang at Thermal is one step ahead, offering up one hell of a reconnaissance video. Shot with a 360-degree camera this video showcases every aspect of Thermal’s Two Palms circuit.

If in-car footage is your thing, watch Thermal’s ace driver wring the neck of this lovely Porsche Cayman GTS. If, like us, you really want to check out the grounds, then swing the camera around and look out the passenger window. Or, if a track day Thermal is in your immediate future, you lucky SOB, then face forwards and take in Two Palms at full speed.

If you’re looking for the ultimate luxury motorsport experience on the West Coast, then Thermal seems like a no-brainer. Whether it’s a regular thing, or a once in a lifetime experience, Thermal seems to be the track to check out in California.

He enjoys track days, drifting, and autocross, at least, when his cars are running right, which is uncommon.
