Thumbs down AVOID www:DEPARTSTOP.com

I ordered a BMC filter and never received it (Dec 3). I contested the transaction through Paypal...I recieved a judgement in my favor but no money. It was a credit card transaction...but under paypal agreement...no money in sellers account...no money refunded. Phone is now disconnected etc. and their web site won't accept payment (probably because of my complaint)

I know could have been worse...I'm out $127. So don't order from them

PayPal are a ******* outfit.
Have your credit card company reverse the charge if paypal won't play ball.

Just went through my credit card resolution center and they are going to credit my account. Maybe it is better to use your credit card on paypal than a direct account transfer. I think I would have been out the money otherwise.

By the way "Happy New Year" to all

What are the thoughts on PayPal? My friend is getting ready to sell a camera online and is using Paypal for the $2000 exchange. I told him to look into the security of it and look to see if there are any better options? What's out there?

Sorry to threadjack, I think this could help the group though too.

thanks for the heads up. Phone might be disconnected but they probably still take online orders.
