Pics: 911 SC
Thanks to all for all the positive comments. Of course, Wes (the photographer) did a tremendous job capturing the purity of form that is the old school 911's. I love them. To answer some of your questions - it's a 1980 Euro model in Grand Prix White that was imported into the US in 1985. No Sunroof, no a/c, velour seats (black with white pin stripe) and 160,000 + miles. I bought it from the original owner about 4 years ago and the mishap in the front spoiler area happened on my way back from California on some lonely road in the mid west at about 2AM when I was driving too fast and something (I think it was a hare or a lynx or a bobcat) came out of nowhere. I didn't even have time to lift off the throttle. For all of you that have ever had the opportunity to drive an earlier 911, they are truly superb, robust, and downright entertaining cars to pilot down your favorite stretch of road.
