Porsche 911 Roadster (America Ed. ?)

Alright guys... I need some advice with a sale. One of my clients is getting rid of his Porsche Roadster. (put me on the job) It is a 1992 Porche 911 America Roadster I believe (5 speed) Convertable. I was told that there were only about 290 of these shipped to the U.S. Anyways the car is in Immaculate condition. Owner since 1999 (third) He has ALL records, reciepts, bills of sale. He recently had the whole car went over by Desert European Motor Cars (Rancho Mirage Ca.) From NEW Tires, Rotors, calipers, to leather dying to belts to hoses etc (7k). It also has a custom blue Top. There is not one ding or scratch on this car. This car has been souped up by protomotive in the year 2000. He had a Stage 1 c2/c4 kit intalled. (12k) Included bigger injectors, ECU upgrade, Exhaust, Single Intercooler-less turbo, Suspension package, and much more. Car is pushing around 400HP. Car is in showroom condition with only 43k Miles on it.. He is looking to get at least $45k out of it. I need to know more if anyone has more info about these. Here are some pictures, and i Appreciate everyones help.

This looks like a really nice clean 964. I only know of one other Roadster, and it belongs to a fellow in Maryland. The price seems reasonable for the condition of the car. I don't think the 87 Cobra rear light on the engine deck is standard for this car....anyone have any other comments?

No expert but I would think that it will pull less money than an all original Roadster would pull. I say $40,000...but perhaps you will find the right buyer to pay for some of the mods.

Pipes...the rear deck light is original.

Porsche 911 964 American Roadster.

In 1992 Porsche offered the North American market a limited edition Cabriolet, the American Roadster.

The 'Turbo-Bodied' Roadster had the electric spoiler of the standard Carrera 2 & 4, a power hood and additional extras. However at $15.000 more then the standard Cabriolet only 250 were made.

Flatsixnut is correct in stating that only 250 Roadsters were made. They came with the wide turbo body. There are a few Roadsters for sale on the internet...check them out if you want a comparison on going prices. Cannillo Motorsports, Ltd. has one for sale and they are asking $27K. There ad for the car is as follows:

1993 Porsche 911(964) America Roadster
VIN# WP0CB2964PS460545 Red/Tan This is the ultra rare Factory America Roaster. A total of 250 cars were made between 92 & 93 making this one of the rarest Porsche's ever built. It's in Excellent condition overall with 114k miles. It's been babied it's whole life and it's fully serviced. Do not be put off by the mileage, the car's been well cared for. It's also Loaded with Tiptronic, Special order Leather Comfort Seats, Automatic Speed Control and more....... Plus it comes with all the Special Roadster options including a Factory Turbo wide body, Turbo Wheels, Turbo Suspension, Turbo Brakes and more...... This car had an original MSRP sticker price of over $91,000 in 1993! These cars are awesome, look cool, and are fun to drive. Don't miss this Roadster. You'll probably never find one this nice and this cheap..... ever! We're asking $27,750.
