Can someone please explain the major differences between the Carrera S, to the GT3, to the GT3 RS?

Carrera S, GT3, GT3 RS

the major diffrence is that the Carrera S is more of a "everyday car". the GT3 and the GT3 RS are for persons who races on the track but still want to drive the car on the road. The Carrera S has four seats(the two in the back are for children) and the GT3:s only has 2. then the Carrera S has 381 hp and the GT3 has 415 hp and the RS just a bit more.

Carrera S:
topspeed: 293 km/h
0-100: 4,8 seconds

GT3:
topspeed: 310 km/h
0-100: 4,1 seconds

GT3 RS
topspeed: 310 km/h
0-100: 4,0 seconds

(the GT3:s have almost the same performance as the Turbo)

the Carrera S is'nt made for the track as the GT:s are but works just fine on it anyway. but the GT3:s are racingcars and there is a big difference in the weight and the Carrera S is easier to use in the city and it has heat in the seats and a lot of more stuff that you want to have in a usual car but the GT3:s have better brakes, and no unnecesary stuff and will get around the track ´much faster than a Carrera S. but your wife will be more happy for a Carrera S unless shes a Racer. and the Carrera S is cheeper

difference between GT3 and GT3 RS in very small. only 44 lb less weight and just 0,1 second faster acceleration. but it's more expensive. but I would not pay those extra money for an RS. (but it would be a bit embarassing stopping next to an RS in your GT3 at the trafficlights)

I'd say that the biggest differences between the Carrera S and the GT3s are the engine and transmission. Both GT3s have a GT1 derived motor and a different transmission than the Carrera S ( both the 2009 and up 9A1 DFI engine and the 2005-08 M97 engine). Of course there are more differences than that but those 2 are the main ones.
