Hey guys i am a new member to the forum and am picking up a 81 porsche sc with strosek body kit and full amenities and its a beautiful car from xtrememotorcars who do porsche conversion and alot of nice other things as well.

this will be my first porsche since i am a Mercedes guy but ive always loved porsche.

What can i expect from the 80's porsche. what kind of car is it and also what kind of upgrades can i do to it to get some more hp out of the car.

i know it comes with a 3.0v6 thats rated at 204hp.

thank you i appreciate it.

Now as soon as i take delivery of this car what kind of modifications can plan on doing to add maximum hp/torque.

i was looking at some fabspeed exhaust and header products they have for the 911. Any recommendations from you guys on here?

thanks

on our 996, we did the fabspeed muffler bypass as well as the K&N CAI, and GIAC performance flash, but I can't say that i've noticed much HP difference. It just sounds obnoxious....which I love! =) I'm sure the guys here will have a lot of ideas for you!

again...congrats! your car is just stunning inside and out!!!

That is one incredible looking car. I also have a vechicle from Xtreme in Cali. My local Porsche shop has been extremely impressed with the body work on the car... top notch. You are going to enjoy that head turner. There is a ton you can do with the motor, but a typical start is exhaust and cams. I am no expert, but you will get some great advice from these Porsche Forums.

Strosek

My dealings with Xtreme were perfect. Everything described regarding the car was spot on at delivery. You are going to freak when you see the quality of paint work on the car... mine is spotless. That is quite the head turner you purchased. I'll try to PM my number.

Hate to tell you this, but if the motor in that car you are picking up is a Motormeister rebuild, as indicated in your other post, I strongly advise you to steer clear away from the car. You've been warned.

you are rigth i just talked to jeffery at xtreme. He told me all the bad infor about motormeister after i made that post.

Xtreme wanted a simlar engine painted the same color my engine so they sent in the pic. What motormeister did was steal there pic and post i up on there site to make it look like they did the work.

im new to the site but ive already searched about motormeister and there horrible work.. and good thing my car is not a rebuild from them
