New owner! Just wanted to share some new pictures of my 911!

I just picked up a 1999 Porsche 911 6 speed with a gt3 aero kit up from Texas a few days ago and drove it all the way back to Wisconsin. I must say, the car is amazing!!!! The handling, the braking, the entire feel of the car is unlike anything else I've ever driven!!! Its my first porsche and I'm loving the experience already. Its quite a different driving experience from my Toyota Supra Turbo that I own and is pretty much better in every category except the straight line where HP is a key factor.

As for modifications, this has quite a few. BBS 2 piece wheels with Pilot sport ps2 tires, 225 up front, 315's out back, H&R springs, Euro tails, side markers, and headlights, fabspeed headers running to Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes with 4.5" tips, fabspeed intake, ecu chip, gt3 console delete, silver faced gauges.

I'm looking to supercharge this car over the winter. I'm trying to find information on what parts I will need to do this and where I can buy them. If anybody knows any information on this, please let me know!

Let me know what you guys think!

What a great car....but you might get more input to your questions in the GT3 forum, rather than this 911 group...Pipes.....

Update....

I'm in the process of getting my BBS center cention of the wheels powdercoated black and leaving the polished lip. I think it will look good!

I'm also thinking of this gt3 front bumper....what do you guys think? Worth buying?

And....anybody have any experience with HID kits for these cars? I've heard they burn holes in the headlight??? Is this true? If not, I'd really like to jump on ordering a set of Phillips HID's for this car. Let me know guys thanks!

Nice...keep us updated on your changes.

As you have time, give a difference between a Supra (which I own as well) vs this car in overall feel (drive, ergonomics, etc). I've only driven a Turbo 911 and loved it - but an afternoon drive is different from living with one for a few months.

Great looking car! Enjoy! I have always liked the Aerokit on the 1st generation 996s a lot! Nice touch to have the GT fins at the back too.
