I just bought a 71 on a whim...

Here goes:

What are those two levers on either side of the e-brake?

Let the mocking commence...

Not to my liking, but if your happy with it that's all that matters. How long have you had it for? What's the mileage? Would love to hear a little more about it.

It's a goofy little car, but extremely clean and well put together. It was definitely someones baby.

I picked it up this last Saturday, it's got a brand new interior, and 6800 miles on a rebuilt 2.4L with the Bosch MFI.

It hauls butt, and it's not the fastest car I own, but it sure is a blast to drive, the sound through the Remus exhaust is fantastic.

I bought it to flip it, but now I am leaning towards keeping it.

Now you must snap a few pictures of this interior So the guy you bought it from did the original transformation?

No, I bought it from a dealer in Chicago, who I think bought it at auction, story was it was originally a California car.

You're right it definitely looks like somebody put a lot of effort into it, the interior is nice!

It would be a hard car to flip unless you got a screaming deal. The interior looks nice, but someone went overboard on the gauge faces with "Porsche", "Turbo", "Targa", and "959" logos. Looks like a well-kept car that someone put a lot of work into.

Agreed, the gauges are way over the top. How would one go about removing the white gauge covers? It looks like they are just inserts.

I can't stop scrolling up and looking at that car...

It looks really cool. After checking out that interior, I love what the previous owner envisioned. A little much with the badges, but overall, I really dig it.
