I'm considering purchasing a used 2013 911 Carrera S from a dealer but they only have one key. Is it possible (as crazy as it sounds to me) that it came new with only one key? Is there any security/theft risks? If I purchased it should I consider having the locks changed (paranoid me)....

The car should come with two keys. The dealer should provide both. Don't purchase without both.

 

They come with 2. Tell them to include a 2nd key. They are a bit pricey so let them eat that as it should come with the car. I might be a bit concerned about the original 2nd key...did the former owner keep it? I would be a little worried about theft if the car remains in the same area as the former owner lived. Yeah, that's my brain....
