Where the hell is the washer tank in 1989 911?

Manual shows it on inside of left fender tween the battery and brake fluid tank. I tried following the 1/4" hose with white markings running from washer pump (mounted on back of latch panel) and it looks like it runs thru the left fender to the front of the L front wheel well. There are two tanks there. The big oil tank and a smaller 8" x 8" roughly which I thought was the washer tank but turns out to be gas tank expansion tank. So where is the damn washer tank. Do I have to remove LF tire to get to it. Makes no sense. It has to be easily accessible.
Help. BTW it is nowhere in the trunk.
