Need some help...

My neighbor owns a 74 911 with 930 turbo body on it. Its not the fastest car and he would like to change to it. He and myself have no idea where to begin (swap motor, turbo his). But most importantly, there isnt many Porsche specialty shops in my area (southern Connecticut). Can you guys give me an idea of where to begin, and if your from the area can you recommend a place to get work done, we dont mind traveling as long as the shop is worth it. Thanks again for all the help, heres a picture of what were working with.

It is not worth it . it will cost you over 35,000 to od what you want. Sell the car and use the money to buy a real turbo

We do alot of 3.2 Carrera conversions on the older cars. It is a nice swap, everything bolts right in since the engine is dimesionally the same. You also can benefit from easier engine mods. ECU tuning, intake and exhaust makes them run even better. The engine weighs a little more so you need an upgraded shock in the rear and to re-index the spring plates. We usually install Bilstein HD's.

Good Luck!
