Not sure if this has been covered before, but why doesnt the website have a section for the Porsche 913?

 

What is a 913?

 

Yeah, I guess that would be why.

 

i believe it was an early 911 (2.0), made for the amaerican market only, we have one at work we are parting out. Just wondering if any one else has come accross one?

 

Early 911's were called 911's. In late 64 these US cars were almost identical to the ROW models.

 

they definately made a 913, i saw a write up once in GT Purely Porsche magazine, will try and find the article.

 

Please do. Porsche began selling the 911 in 1964. They started selling the 912 in 1965, the 914 in 1969, the 924 in 76. etc etc etc. Why would they "start" with a 913? You are wrong my friend.

913?!! In the 20 years of Porsche reading, parts selling, club going, and car selling I have never ever heard of the 913. Id have to say no way your wrong but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Prove it.
