Thanks. Took it on a 1000 mile vintage rally in Oct. It was a great car. What was funny is that the rally had a bunch of support people from Porsche, they went crazy for it. Especially the Germans.

It took me a full year of searching and then the day I gave up I found the right one. Keep your chin up it is not easy, with only about 100 5 speeds made over the 3+ years of production for the US, to find a clean one anymore without paying through the nose.

It had 53,500 miles when I purchased it, all records from day one only thing missing is the window sticker. 93 5 speed AFAIK the only Amazon green with Tan interior all others of the 9 I know of have gray and only one other in this color is a 5 speed. Impeccably maintained and in A1 condition 1st owner had it until 2001 and the second owner until 2005 when I purchased it. Came with new rotors in box and all service recently performed at something like 48k miles (have to double check when). It has the standard GTS options with cell phone console and original phone, sport suspension, draped leather front and rear and leather seat backs and car cover. Everything original no mods. I had it checked out and I spoke to the original owner minor paint work done on one 1/4 panel for a scratch but a simple blend not complete respray.

I don't like to say what I paid but it was less than $40K but more than $30K
Lets say somewhere in between + shipping. I feel I got a great deal and a solid car. The day I got it it blew a radiator hose and the seller paid to have the coolant hoses replaced, all of them.

I have won multiple first place concours with this car. Took second at Zone 1 in 2006 only to a low mileage horizon blue GT that came from Canada and got additional points for most miles traveled otherwise nearly perfect score except some slight dirt in the engine after the judge stuck his arm half way down the engine compartment. Car was always garaged never driven more than 5k miles in a year and oil changed every 1500 to 2500 miles. Doesn't burn oil and is original engine. To date I have only had a few minor issues (fan speed control needed contacts cleaned and I changed out the shocks, needed new tires when I purchased it)

Great driving car love the GT feel for long trips. Unlike a 911 which can be tiring on long drives.

sounds great, and a fantastic price.

Mine had 22k, with recent service. I paid about 10K more, but its a 95, 3rd to last made. The 5 spd really makes the car. Drove a friends S4 auto, and it loses so much in comparison. Enjoy it., and watch for those gigantic NJ and NY potholes.

You got a great deal at that price. Would expect you could see double that today if marketed right. IIRC Willhoit has a 22k 95 he is asking $71k for.
