Hesitation after some driving

Recently, once my car has reached operating temps, I have been getting a bit of hesitation between 3000-3800rpm. Can anyone guess as to why this is happening?

My car is an '87 930 with 64,000 miles.

Please help.

I experienced the same issue and was told it was likely a combo of old/bad gas and carbon build up. Fix was simple - a can of fuel stabilizer and a long Sunday drive.
