Questions for a 91 964 Turbo ;
-Should there be any concern about engine knock by increasing the ignition timing across the rpm range by 6.5 degrees?
-Would 93 octane be enough to prevent any risks on a 1+bar setup?
-Installing Knocklink or an aftermarket knock sensor may be necessary?

Apparently the oem ignition advance is 40 deg from 3000 rpm upwards at 400 mbar ( no boost) and 21 deg. at 1.750 mbar (boost). It is an increase of 6.5 degrees across the rpm band. Can anyone with tuning experience chime in?
