Slant Nose question

Hey, So i think i might go get one. The question is which one. Is it better to buy just a 930 with a kit already on it and just to turbo upgrade and displacement upgrade...Or is it better to get a slant nose off the bat...

Also where can i learn the most about the 930 and the slant nose...

THANKS

Non -original slant nose 930 quality are all over the place. If it is not done right it will look awful. Stay awy from the fiberglass conversions. The steel are better but still will reduce the value of the car. There are a lot of issues with conversions like jack points etc. I would not get a conversion at all. Buyin a real slope nose will cost less in the long run than converting a regular 930.

If you are going to make a monster out of it, buy a regular turbo and convert it yourself, let me know and once you are ready to buy, Ill help you find something nice.

Hi Me_qwkr

The most knowledgeable guys that i know of that have so much information about early model Porsche 911 Turbo cars would be ;

* Stephen Kaspar at Imagine Auto, www.ImagineAuto.com

* Chris at Turbo Kraft, www.TurboKraft.com

* Kevin at Ultimate Motorwerks, www.UltimateMotorwerks.com

You might want to check out Prototech's website www.prototechonline.com

Below are a few sites that might give you some heads up on the early cars;

- http://vista.pca.org/stl/turbo.htm

- http://www.flachbau.com

- http://www.911turbo.com/BB/

- http://www.supercars.net/garages/PeP/32v2.html

- http://www.topspeed.com/cars/porsche...64-ar1017.html

Hope this helps. Good luck with what you decide on to be your next car.
