Hello everyone, my name is Cody and I am a new owner of a Porsche, I bought it about half a year ago after looking and dreaming for a long time.
I bought it for a daily driver to replace my Lexus IS300 and before that various Eagle Talons. Since I live in Canada I needed a car that I could drive in snow, that's why it had to be a Carrera 4.
I've joined PCA, and next year I hope to make it out to some meets and hopefully track days, although I didn't buy this car to track (I use a 91 Acura NSX for track events).

Thanks for the compliments, I found out the other night that even with AWD Summer tires just aren't meant for snow, it's time to get some Blizzak's.
I picked the wheels on the NSX a couple years before I bought the 911 with the same style wheels, but I do like them
. I will need some lighter rims/tires though for next racing season.

I bought dark grey because as a daily driver I was trying to find a color that would hide dirt, maybe it's me but I find my car always dirty, I wash it a lot, almost OCD, poor paint, haha.
I'll probably give it a shot when I go to one of the PCA track events, I guess if I like it enough I'll have to start looking for a Carrera 2 964 to use for the track.
Thanks, I know I like the sound of the 964 a lot more.
I've been thinking about it, but I drive the car year round in the snow so I don't know what it would be like if it was lowered or if it was too stiff.
