The look of 991tt is not as good looking as new 991 GT3.

 

It likely won't look like that when it's released.

 

That gash on the side in not well done. The rest of it is ok but not all that inspiring.

 

I don't like it, roof is wide, looks like a "big cayman turbo"...

 

Yeah, and for what they're going to ask for it, I think not. I'll keep the one I have now.

 

I already kept my 993TT, disliked the 996, and took a 2007 997TT in 2009, will keep the both for now...

 

Until Porsche finds some way to protect the resale value of these cars, I will never buy another. I've got 11K on my '08 Cab and its now worth less than half of what I paid for it even though it's in absolutely perfect condition. Disgraceful!! Buy a Turbo and you might as well drive it over Niagara Falls.

While I agree this sucks, did you think Porsche is immune to depreciation? Your car is 5 years old now, and even though you don't seem to drive it, they made a bazillion of them. All you're doing is safeguarding the car that the next owner will get a great deal on.

Simple solution - never buy a brand new Porsche. Wait a while and get a steal.

 

Kinda disappointed with the look as well.
Especially the rear with the small wing.

It's like the other cars steal styling cues from the 911 and modifying them and then the 911 is stealing the stolen modified cues back and modifying those. Car incest FTL.

Front end is boring. Looks like it can be fixed with a nice lip spoiler though.

Porsche is a hot mess right now.

Just looks trimmer, lighter, more agile than my 996 (all of which it is)

I do have to disclose that I am fond of the Cayman styling as well.

 

Same here I'm a fan of boxster/cayman. The rs60 boxster was prolly the funnest car I ever driven. Btw this Turbo is prolly gona be my next car.
