Jason,

Where and how do you get the California serviced or address any issues, if and when they arise?

Same question for the Porsche?

Almost forgot, congrats on your new car

quick,

I currently get the California and my wife's Q7 TDI serviced at the dealership we buy from and use in Ohio. They are Midwestern Auto Group. Very, very professional and good guys. I actually have a 458 Spider slot there now that is coming up "soon", but will pass and move to the 991 Turbo S. Will "trade" my 458 Spider slot to whatever the California replacement will be. I am actually excited about my turbo S coming, and will think I will like it as much (dare I say more) than my California.

No issues with getting the cars serviced, and they are VERY accommodating. I have actually found them to be very good about helping me, getting me in when needed. They have a covered transport truck that takes my vehicles back and forth, $100 each way. WAY worth it considering the time it saves.

Big Easy,

Thanks mate! Will be an EXPENSIVE Nov/Dec between the turbo S and the 958 turbo incoming.

If you don't mind me asking, when will you be receiving your TTS? I am placing an order for a TT next week.

Curious why you decided against glass roof? Heat I'm assuming?

With the white exterior I think the black roof would look a lot than a painted roof.

As far as the glass roof, I really wanted it. Was somewhat torn between it and painted roof. In the end, I actually wanted the glass roof on there, but there was a slight communication gap between myself and dealer. The order, when I called to inquire about when orders would start be taking, was their first and locking that night. So, in the heat of the moment to get it in, before the lock, he thought I meant painted when I wanted glass.

No biggie. I think that it will look great either way.

As far as delivery, 991 TT, I have the first allocation at my dealer. When I spoke with him Saturday, he said that it should be released in December. Same time as the regular TT.

Will definitely get some good pics when I fly down to get her. It will be winter, and my routine route will be through the mountains, so likely to have her just trucked back to my house and fly home. Will have to see what the weather is like.

BTW, post #500.

Congrats, beautiful car!

Curious on your thoughts of Power Steering Plus vs. not getting it... have you had any experience with it?

I have not had any direct experience with it. However, ticked the box as a suggestion from my dealer. Highly recommended it.
