Another Reason Why I Love My Porsche Dealer

Forgot to post this after I got the Turbo S, but after I had placed a deposit on the car, I mentioned in passing that I really liked those cast aluminum gas caps. It was not a part of the car order. I had planned on ordering one after I got the car.

When I picked up on November 15, this was on the car, a gift from my salesman. Unexpected, and very much appreciated. Things like that really make buying from one Dealer better than another. They treat me like I am Royalty when I go into the place.

Was it an option in your region? I remember seeing it as an option here in the U.S..

You know, I see that now. It is an option on the Turbo and Standard on the S. Oh well, I thought they had installed it! My Salesman never stated they had it installed as a gift, he just said "there is that aluminum gas cap you talked about." I just assumed!

Silly me. Still love them anyways, hehehe!

Mine got one too. The salesman did point out the fact it's an aluminum cap explicitly. Must be part of the training. Porsche didn't specify that as a base option, but it also wasn't an option you can select.

An Aluminum gas cap for free (standard) on a $200K car. Imagine that? It's amazing what you can get for $200K!
What will they think of next? Maybe a key painted in the color of the car for only $350.

Does it have the keeper tether or is it totally loose? Looks sharp. My 2011 TTS did not come with it and I like it. Best its cold as hell in the winter up here but its the price you pay I guess.

Thanks,
