UPDATE 1/6/14 Dealer heard from Germany and was provided and has installed an full software update on the car. Tested and retested and have not had a another TFT failure. No specifics were provided other than that a communication error was corrected. Three hour process, I was told.


UPDATE following dealership visit: No solution. No trouble codes. TFT failed for the dealer as well. They are sending total download data to Porsche. Seems to have something to do with the key less entry.


UPDATE: This has now occurred multiple times. Dealer is going to re flash the computer start up sequence tomorrow. They feel that the original 'wake up' had a communication issue. Should take about an hour.


Took delivery of my Turbo S late last week. Twice since, the TFT Multi Function display has failed to come on. The first time this happened, I pulled over, put the trans in Park, then it came on. The second time, this did not work and it only came on after parking, locking the car, then restarting as normal.

This happened a couple of times with my 2010 Panny as well. Never figured that one out.


Anyone have similar experience?
