Cleaning Turbo S wheels

I discovered last weekend that its a pain in the *** to actually wash the wheels on my Turbo S. Luckily with the carbon ceramics they don't get too dirty, but with all the small holes it hard to clean the barrel of the wheel. My daytona speed brush gets stuck on the metal guard. There isn't enough clearance. Anyone have any suggestions or tips?

There are a few off the shelf wheel cleaners you should try. Very minimal, if any, wiping required. Most products are safe for the wheel finish…just need to follow instructions. Typically you spray on, let sit for a minute and then spray off with water. Definitely worth a try on the style wheel you have.

I've used these products in the past and they work great. The key as you might guess is to ensure you don't spray and let sit for a long time. Follow instructions and you'll be fine.

Get an ez detail brush and p21s gel wheel cleaner. Both can be found on amazon.

+1 for P21S. I've heard about it for years; finally caved and ordered a non-gel bottle from Amazon. It was worth it.

Throw a coating on them and it'll make things easier to clean as well, I went w/ opticoat. +1 on the P21S, as well.

Thanks for the tip, I just got these from amazon except it is a foam spray version. Worked really well, so nice to see the inside of the wheel clean. Is the gel better? I couple of spots I was unable to clean, perhaps because it is a ding than dirt.

After cleaning, I use a duster like you use in the house to reach inside to clean the drum, works great.
