skilly2000 is infamous around these parts
I went with H&R the same drop and very little difference in the stock ride feel yet half the price.

Wasn't that the overall point of doing this? HAHAH - The TechArt Springs really are absolutely amazing! I have put them on about 7 Turbo's so far, and each owner is more than pleased!

Feel free to check them out on our site!

Anyone able to find real details on this yet? As posted below. Spring rates vs stock available? Besides ride height, what do you give up dropping 1.1 inches. Any negatives at all?

I think you will have to expect compromising general drivability of this car depending to where you want to drive for sure. I could not imagine driving mountain roads lower than now without front lip scraping at fast speed through dips and some bumpy spots. It really is just not possible to save spoiler lip if down unless these HR/techart lower springs made to be stiffer to remove all suspension travel through dips but then ride would be uncomfortable and tiring so....in this case what is the point just for showing a low look.... when car looks really fine stock anyway??
Now if you driving just smooth freeway then maybe is OK. Our friends 991GT3 is very fine low, with just a few small scrapes on front dam from roadway pushing at speed...but then remember it has a stiffer springs than our tts and then has lifter kit for other hard times which can causing such damages. I also read from member here how his tts get bouncy with his low springs when pushing hard in canyon roads. This is for me not good. Stock does not do that....rides firm with no bounce in S and /SP good and very nice control at all time So if you thing about it logically this bouncy ride must be expected as short springs reducing shock travel a lot now and also not matched to correct shock like Porsche has done with the stock spring shocky combo. This is where GT3 has nice match up by Porsche factory with its lower springs to correct shock, but still it too has seen some little touches from road at front spoiler... casue from dip or corner bump when pushing very hard. Sure GT3 it is not bouncy, but can get a bit jittery so will not keep up as well sometimes.....it all comes down to road surface and how fast you plan to drive on this type roads....or if you just drive on smooth roadway.

Bro, I will have my 21's with Techart springs installed mid June. I can show you the car and you can drive it.

BUMP:

Just wondering if there is any new update/reviews from real owners. Looking for a good drop but a comfortable ride.

Love my H&R from Tire Rack.

Looks so much better and rides the same as stock.

I have the Techarts on 21" HRE's and the ride is extremely similar to stock, especially on these NYC streets.

Does it clear all the speed bumps in the city and indoor garage at a steep angle?

I've got HRE's 21's. With tech art springs my tires have never rubbed. I love them. The ride is a little stiffer but not bad at all and in a couple weeks it feels normal

Thanks, I really want to lower my car just a notch but afraid of the hassles as my car has a bodykit. And my other car is also very low.

If the car was any lower, it would be a PITA for sure. I say go for it once spring comes around..
