I love walking a crotch rocket
These guys on the crotch rockets that haul *** up behind you are such asswipes. They don't like a car that they can't catch and that in fact, just walks away. I have this on ramp that I love to use for 183. It's next to an office building parking lot and I have to cross two lanes of traffic on the service road to get on so you need some clearance in the oncoming traffic. I always like to give it the gas on this ramp once I have the car straight. Anyway today I had it in sport and I was manual shifting and I could see it was clear for a good way down. I pulled in hard and wiggled the tail getting around and in the rearview I saw a crotch rocket bearing down at about 70 and I held it a little to long and the rev limiter kicked in for a second but I shifted. In that time, the crotch rocket had pulled along side me and was planning to cut me off by passing on the right. I just pushed it to the floor in second and third and the crotch rocket was left in the dust. When we got to the highway he pulled into the gap between the entrance lane and the traffic lane where a car was and passed me there and turned around and flipped me the finger. I didn't bother going after him because he already got schooled on how his bike wasn't fast enough. LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!
hahaha Not to mention the fact that turns not straight line assaults are the strong suit of cars, due to COG. But I don't think my stock 991TT would walk a lot of bikes. Any idea of the weight to power ratios?
I have raced one other bike and beat it. I don't think they were like racing bikes but the average bike probably won't beat this car from a dig because it gets off the line so fast with the AWD.
1000cc sportbikes have been running 10s and high 9s for a long time now. I love my turbo, but it doesn't stand a chance until after 150. I bet your turbo could take a poorly ridden 600 or someone who wasn't expecting a race to the onramp. I've gone against a few turbos on my 1098S and it's not even close

The comparison between almost any car and a sport bike is apples to oranges. There are really not many cars that can out accelerate a bike. But bikers who think they are hot sh*t for out accelerating a Porsche Turbo need to be in something with 4 wheels, not two. No comparison in power/weight ratios here.

The magna runs about even with my car on a hot day. On a day like today I should be able to get a 10.6 at 128. I need to get out there and do a pre-mod Vbox run because I am doing the FVD piggyback and IPD plenum either next week or the following.
Fair enough.
2001 CBR 600 F4i(stock)
95.5 hp @ 12,500rpm
42.6ft/lbs tourque @ 10,250rpm
Corrected Quarter Mile: 10.71 @ 126.7mph
More recent than my old v65 and more likely to be purchased for a young biker

I would have killed myself on something like that. I had a Yamaha RD350 which would do a wheelie in each of the first four gears. I nearly got killed on it but not my fault, it was somebody passing on a two lane road that failed to notice me. I got off on the shoulder and managed to keep from laying it down. At 105 that RD350 felt like the wheels were leaving the ground intermittently, very unstable.
He may have been a smaller bike or you caught him off guard. As stated most of the bigger bikes will walk away from a TTS. These new bikes are crazy fast; the new Ducatti has 205 hp and is somewhere around 400 lbs.
ps. Bike insurance is cheap. For my one bike (BMW K1200S) I pay $358/yr; I've had as many as three on the policy for less than $600. I will say I have no accidents or tickets (in a long time anyway)...

In my 997 TT I passed a Harley Hog on a two lane road and he gunned the Harley and I hit the gas and eventually passed at mid 100 speeds. Bikes can be persnickety at times. He followed me for 10 miles till the end of the road and we exchanged nice words. He was impressed with the 997.
