Porsche 991 Turbo Tuned to 630 Horsepower AVAILABLE NOW!!
I've read on a few Porsche CTT forums of people trying these "type" boxes and not having good results. The consensus amongst 958 CTT's owners is that GIAC and flashing is the way to go.

"I have been a long time reader of these forums but never posted here until now. I recently purchased the VR tune box and had high hopes from what I read about them. However, after 3 different VR tune boxes and 2 wire looms my Cayenne Turbo would not react correctly to the tune (drop in boost and 3 second delay between shifts). After a month of working with the company I purchased my tune from I was finally told they had no solutions for my problems in the near future so I ended up returning."

We are familiar with the issue encountered by Fastcayenneturbo. While we cannot confirm 100% what the direct issue was, we did test that specific tuning box on a local Cayenne and found no issues present. Power gains were found and functionality was solid. We've had the tuning box on our personal 991TT for quite some time now without any issues whatsoever. As these are being installed outside of our facility, it is sometimes difficult to confirm if the installation is user error. I've personally have a client that utilized a tuning box on his newer VW. He had one of the clips connected incorrect which led to loss of power and shifting issues with the DSG. I've also encountered a client with a 435i who didn't completely connect one of the plugs as it was difficult to reach. This lead to CEL and other issues. With that said, we offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on these tuning boxes, and simply put, if you are not satisfied, we welcome you to return for full refund.
At 20% off, 30 day satisfaction guarantee, and proven power gains shown on our own 991TT, this is a win/win/win.

Regarding GIAC, while I'm not extremely knowledgeable on their specific tune, based on other flash tunes, I am fairly certain the flash counter on the vehicle being flashed will be effected. As such, a trip to the dealer for warranty work could lead to a denied claim.
Also the person I quoted said he got three different boxes from you guys. If it was user install how come it took three installs and a month of trouble shooting to figure out that you guys just don't have a solution? If it was install why wouldn't the vendor try and work this out?

If your not knowledgeable about a specific solution how can you make comments like this? seems irresponsible to me and just a way to bash a competitors product without first hand knowledge.... if you don't know.. then don't say anything...

str8blst, I do apologize if I've somehow offended you. It seems as if you are taking this discussion a bit personal. I assure you it isn't. And I meant no disrespect toward Fastcayenneturbo either. Simply stated that we were unable to find issues with the box and have since utilized it on another vehicle without issue. The solution for his tuning box was a return and refund as it did not meet his needs.
To be fair, to my knowledge, you have no direct knowledge of our tuning box via personal use and yet you are attacking us on here.
Appreciate your feedback and concerns, although the abrasive tone isn't necessary. We're all here with the same passion for cars and performance, and the same goal. Go faster whenever possible.
vivid... no offense taken... I was merely giving people here information based on person who actually did buy your product. went through 3 boxes and ended up returning it at the end of 30 days. I am not attacking your product personally. just quoting what others have written. I asked a few legitimate questions and feel that any customer who would want to purchase this solution would also want support and the comfort that the vendor will be able to figure out issues with their product. I think giving a 30 day money back guarantee is great and certainly ads a level of comfort. Good luck with your offerings. I look forward to future reviews of this performance box.
