I had my winter rims and tires put on at the dealer over the weekend and while there they did Campaign WE64 which the service advisor described as a DME upgrade - "upgrade".

The exhaust is significantly quieter in all modes and I've all but lost the burps off throttle. I loved those burps. :-(

Pretty bummed about this one - not sure what the recourse is though, I feel like I got a little bait and switched on the can I purchased and the one I have today. (OK maybe an exaggeration, but....).

I had a similar experience after doing the open campaigns. I started a thread about it as well. Felt like the exhaust lost 10 to 15% in "loudness" to me.

 

Has anyone else done this. My dealer wants to do my car as well.

Trying, was hoping someone may already have them.

 

Too bad they did not have a campaign to make the stock exhaust louder, my only complaint about the TTS. I had to do my own GMG campaign to take care of that!

 

GMG system is the bomb!

 

I wonder if the GIAC flash restores the pops and burbles? Has anyone flashed after the campaign?

 

Austin at GIAC suggested I have the campaign done and then reflash. From his understanding it improves some of the transmission shifting. No idea about the exhaust sound. I sure hope it doesn't mess it up.
