I got my switch assembly reworked to have the sport button activate upon startup. It still works as usual as an on/off switch and can be disabled for a dealer visit if needed. Check out the vid the guy posted of my car.

Tell us more. Is this only for the 991? I've been wanting this for years!

 

The guy has been doing 991s and 981s since the switches are the same. Not sure if his microprocessor would work on 997s. Will ask him.

 

I'm with White Rock. Is this someone in Miami who does this?

 

I sent the piece to Michigan. The car still runs with the switches missing but the sunroof and a few other things won't operate in the mean time.

 

Sorry guys. He said the 997 is completely different from the layout and electronics point of view.
