I will put the new sta-bil 360 in it and one it's home put it away for a couple of months.
whaaaaaaaaaaat! Just get some winters. It's a blast in the snow. Drives almost too good. Just watch those potholes, already blew a tire on one in Belmont.
carguy84, you are one brave guy. Mine in the garage waiting for the sunshine and looks like we're getting another 14-18 inches of snow today/tomorrow. YIKES...mercy mercy. I like the snow in the intake.
Correct .. those were the OEM Pirelli summer tires - it was the most scariest exhilarating commute home. The Epoxy floor has held up ok - I used the Griot's product .. I would actually like to redo and put more chips down - it can be slippery when wet. As for the camera - the former was actually a sony camera - I now have a Samsung PTZ camera that can see 300m in dark .. I just went out and took a new picture for 11:30 am today .. my answer to weather like this is my '14 .. and u can see the '15 ready 2 go .. um .. in Spring - about 70 inches of snow in the past 2 weeks - I believe we are suppose to get another 10 ..
My next house will be in Florida, so I can drive my car and ride my motorcycle year round. Was very tough buying a new turbo in the middle of winter, I did get a good price though.
I'm with you on a heated driveway .. just curious .. do they keep up with these amounts? As for you porsche42 - I'm in.. except I'm thinking Arizona or Nevada .. the '15 was purchased on 12/26 great price
Heated driveway will definitely keep up - as long as you're not late on turning it on. Typically you need to start them a few hours ahead of time and let them run a few hours after. They also don't help with snow plow snow at the end of the driveway, but that's easy enough to deal with (during most NORMAL Boston Winters).
No garage queen here... the car is for driving, but definitely use winter tires (Pilot Alpin 4). Summer tires feel like they have plenty of grip... until you need it most, then you realize there is a huge difference in grip ;-) I once almost spun (over 90 degrees) my old car (slatett's old car - hi slatett) coming from 140 to I290 in Massachusetts... going slowly, being cautious, gentle on the gas and boom car almost spun... stability control got it back and fortunately no one was close to me... I put the car back in the garage straight away... Temps were in low teens...
FWIW... I bought Slate's car from Prime (used), my 2010 new at Rietzl/Norwell and my 2015 at Nashua.
