I was told by my dealer to order the sunroof so the next guy would be happy (so to speak).
I decided no sunroof was best, and the best thing about it is I haven't heard one damn rattle in the roof.

I use my sun roof every clear non summer day I drive in Fl. In summer the sun is too strong during most of the day.

The fit and finish is so good on the TTS that most cannot tell I have a sun roof from looking at it.

IMO it is a must. Also in tilt mode it keeps the car from wind turbulence when the drivers window is open at speeds exceeding 60 MPH.

Excellent point about the buffeting at highway speeds with windows open. Buffeting gets painful over 130, but cannot tilt sunroof on track. There is a piece that was developed for the space near the exterior rear view mirrors that deflects wind and apparently eliminates the buffeting, so a sunroof is not essential for that purpose. True about fit and finish on steel sunroof. I seldom open my sunroof, but a nice option if configuring the car. Also, for those who think that the sunroof adds too much weight at the top of the car and want to optimize their cars for track, do not get the sunroof. The few pounds that it adds are not critical to me.

The "no sunroof" option saved me 10lbs but the Bermester added 25!
