Love my Passport 9500ci!! Have had it on my past 991 Carrera and AMGs (going back to 2010) and love it on this car. Professional install isn't cheap but I don't trust my skills so I have a shop here in San Diego that's amazing.

Trimmer is infamous around these parts
I concur with the 9500ci and add the "Live" to pair via Bluetooth with your phone. I have in both cars and have yet to get a ticket. I have however, been pulled over for excessive speed but, never picked me up on Radar or Laser.

Used to be Passport 9500ix for years. Just bought the Max2 and so far love it.

CI was the second choice but couldn't stomach the total cost for stealth install plus no one near me I would trust with the car.

Many do blendmount. I did this http://m.ebay.com/itm/171367664487?nav=SEARCH
Mounted to the left of the mirror. I think the blendmount hangs down to much and obstructs the view.

Mine came with, it's been great and the Laser Shifter works like a champ. Display above the wheel and control is in the smoking compartment.

I use the V1 with all wires concealed hidden behind tint for radar.

For laser, ALP. I wired the display, thanks to sdg1871 install; inside ashtray. I did not have a smokers package, so needed to install the smokers package and add cigarette light.

For my 9500 ci - my control unit is stuck to the dash, to the right of the steering wheel. Easy to push the mute button to turn off the laser jammer during an alert. The actual display is up above the mirror, stuck to the roof where the rear view mirror attaches to the windshield. This way, it is easy for you to see, but impossible for the car (cop) behind you to see flashing blue bars. That's the reason I did not opt for the rear view mirror display. Advertising to the cop behind you and every other nitwit who wants to speed behind you relying on your radar detector to save him/her
