I forgot about the "comfort mode" setting. 3 beeps at 70 mph and I floor it and he beat me by a hair to 110 mph. The sound was deafening from his (both) cars.

I could not understand why at first how a car with 325 lb ft of torque could beat 516 lb ft of torque and then it dawned on me that I was in "relaxed mode". Lesson learned, lol. But all in good fun. I was impressed with the raw naturally aspirated power of the 991 GT3.

If only I could get a rematch! Sport Plus!!

After turned on a side vacant road and did 2 launch controls,,omg.. Very impressive! Took my breath away for a few seconds.
Are you sure the GT3 was completely stock?

Not sure what you mean by comfort mode. You mean you were in normal mode? as in no sport or sport plus? only comfort mode I know of, are the settings for the tires. You can choose comfort or sport. Something like that. Anyway I wouldn't have believe that unless I was told.

Roughly Gt3 475hp 325tq at 1450kg vs turbo s 560hp 516 tq normal mode at 1600 ish. Lol still
that is just nuts. The way i see it the turbo should still walk away from the gt3. Thats just crazy. I don't get it. Maybe it was a really hot day??

He was reved up and I was prob at 1800 rpms.

Wont happen again.

I actually had my camera on.

Cabman, Not a chance. I'm not ******* the GT3 or discussing which is faster around the track but in a roll race a GT3 would not be a problem. I have encountered several here in Dallas and it always turns out the same. I walk away. The difference in torque from a dig makes the Turbo faster. If someone with a GT3 is in Dallas and wants to show otherwise PM me and we can make a video.

I just got back from runway rivalry two weeks ago at Caddo Mills and beat a 650 HP 2013 M5, a Tuned GTR that jumped me through the cones. I was trapping at 140 mph. MY car is stock outside of the exhaust. To put this into perspective my friend Cameron with his 1100 hp twin turbo Mustang was hitting 165 mph in the same distance and runs high 8's in the quarter mile.

Here is the video against the GTR. He jumped the green light as you can see in the beginning and I had no problem catching up.

modified 2013 M5-Towards the end his HP advantage would have allowed him to come around me if there were another 200 feet in the race.
