I completely understand what the OP is saying. I have owned a 996Turbo and 997Turbo and love them immensely. Love the Porsche brand. However, if I had the financial means to pick up a 458 or 488 Ferrari, I would not hesitate to try it. Who knows...... may not be all that we think its cracked up to be. There is no denying that Porsches are more reliable....Ferrari's turn more heads. I find both brands beautiful but jus think the Ferrari is and looks more special. Its all about what you're looking for.

 

The 458 has a bit of a sterile environment I'm talking specifically about the speciale. There's no denying its a fun car to drive however I like a softer cabin for a street car. With that all being said I'm very interested in the 488.
