Cobb vs GIAC
Use GIAC, if you want your car tuned

In order to settle which tune maximizes performance, I will offer to race any Cobb tuned 991 at the next Air Field event in Southern California. I have nothing more than the GIAC 2 tune and GMG exhaust. As a point of reference, I trapped 165mph at my very first 1/2 mile air field race event. i never lost a race that entire day. What's most amazing to me is that the car runs perfectly. You would think it came from the factory just like this.
Summary is that my car sounds great and pulls like a freight train, but other than that, it runs perfectly every single day.
I have no axe to grind, but the GIAC tune is absolutely incredible. It transformed my car into a monster. The first time I race my 458, it blew my mind. My TTS literally ran away to the tune of 10 car lengths at 150mph. Just thought I'd share my experience with GIAC. They're the best tuning company I've every worked with, and my results speak for themselves.

Well, I called Cobb today. They DON'T support the 2016 platform yet and aren't even working on it. Talk about lunchbag letdown...
A dealer I had spoken to and who assured me that it would work, or that they would get it to work within a few days of purchase, was dead wrong, according to the people I spoke to at Cobb moments ago.

Thanks guys!

Yep. A little birdie just told me about a 991TTS on the Cobb platform that's making over 600 whp and damn near 700 wtq with the factory ICs on pure 93 octane with meth injection. Apparently not done yet either, had a minor hardware issue that stopped progress temporarily.

And, now you can add that 991 to the list of supported vehicles on your site!

As far as I know the car trapped 137mph on pump gas. Waiting now for the slip. His best was 139mph. Having the slips sent over so I can take a look.

I saw some stuff about that car on Instagram because I follow the shop that's been building it. Is it true that car was running meth, C16, and a 70 shot? Was the ~700 whp on pump gas with no nitrous? There was some weird stuff being said and I'd appreciate some clarification. Thanks.
