I saw some stuff about that car on Instagram because I follow the shop that's been building it. Is it true that car was running meth, C16, and a 70 shot? Was the ~700 whp on pump gas with no nitrous? There was some weird stuff being said and I'd appreciate some clarification. Thanks.
TopSpeed Motorsports in Georgia. They said they're going to release a video soon, but didn't give a date and it could be a while. I was hoping I could get some info on the car here since Cobb mentioned it.
Good god that is a huge number. What modifications does that car have? And has it been run at the dragstrip yet?
No one has answered my question. To produce almost 700 wheel hp and 700 wheel torque from this engine you need a lot more mods than just a tune. I wonder what they were as that is an a amazing level of power from this engine. Wish mine made that kind of power.

The car made ~603 whp and ~680 ft/lbs of torque at wheels on 93 octane only with meth injection. It has an entirely separate and dedicated C16 fuel system for the 70 shot. Obviously spraying a 70 shot throughout the rpm range would have put the torque up in the high 700s at the wheels, which is too high for engine longevity, so the spray wasn't triggered until well after peak torque...around 5k rpm. This resulted in the same amount of torque on boost only, but made about 80 whp more up top in the rpm range as you can see from the instagram photo.
Buy a COBB... speak to Dzenno at Pro Tuning Freaks
win win
Thanks @wolfhedge!

You got it!

Sweet! Hit me up when you get into a 991 and we'll get her running strong as well.

Personally too weak at heart for nitrous as well Makes people greedy for 400 shots way too quickly haha!

Yea saw the curve, not too pretty, could use some more work to smooth things out and bring it on a little more progressively over the RPM range. Looks like it was just button triggered 100% spray
700whp on a 70shot of nitrous. Nitrous is not for every body, but another nice thing about custom tuning is you can make and save calibrations of someone wanted to be able to run it. Different for sure from the normal Porsche stuff but bad *** none the less!

Thanks for the clarification. That puts things into much better perspective.
Still very cool to see people doing things out of the box and pushing the envelope!

No qualms about leaning on a meth kit with pump gas? If the kit fails and the motor pops, that's one expensive bang.
Is this car a street car or has the daily usability gone out the window?

Wow that is a ton of power.
C16 is leaded race fuel. I suppose if the car is catless then the fact that it kills cats is not of concern. But what about leaded fuel's effects on oxygen sensors? Is there some sort of work around for that? I love race gas but use the top unleaded race fuel when I want race gas: MS109 (or Torco 108 if no MS109 is available).
At 700 wheel horsepower car should quarter in the 9s for sure and be a killer in competitions.
