just the model designation for me, and most P-car owners don't even notice since this had been the convention up until the big **** 991 appeared.

Highly recommend doing this. Not too busy and just right. Better than
not having any letters.

for those of you that have altered the badging in some way,

does it come off cleanly or is it difficult to remove?

what do you use to put the new one back on if you changed it?

Taking badging of is easy, just use dental floss, and Blow drier.
The rear wing ,diffuser and side intakes, are carbon fiber from Wicked!
they do not have a great reputation! but i was actual quite happy with them.
The reason I am debadged i got tag in the rear at Homestead speedyway by a jerk in turn 2. needed new rear bumper and diffuser.
I must admit i like" 911 Turbo S" look the best.

Blacked out "911 Turbo S" with the "S" in yellow for me. Deleted the "Porsche".

Mine just says PORSCHE, I love it and so does everyone else, it just looks alot cleaner and smoother. Also gives people the chance to use the "Oh I thought it was a Carrera" excuse when losing a race :P

I do think just "turbo" or "turbo S" script looks ok - like the 996 & 997 variants.

The problem is that now Porsche uses the Turbo S designation on so many models -- Panamera, Cayenne, Macan. It is sadly no longer unique to the 911 model. That is why I put "911 Turbo S" on mine instead of "Turbo S"'

I think you need something. The butt is so large that it does not look good plain. I have it all. When I bought my car they had "Porsche" and then below it "911". I did not like the 911 by itself so I did it all. "Porsche" below "911 Turbo"

True but a 911 is easily recognizable as a 911.
