Installed Cobb Accessport....wow.

Had been away for business for the last couple of days and when I arrived home this evening the Accessport had arrived while I was gone. Of course I had to install it as one of my first priorities even with the crazy weather we are having on the east coast. Took about 5 mins to install and then took it for a drive "in the rain". Wanted to get used to stage 1 before I go to stage 2 so that's all I did tonight, but wow!!!! The car is a complete different animal. Obviously BC of the rain I was not really able to get on it but I was breaking loose even in 4th gear...lol. Thanks Cobb! You have made an amazing device! Can't wait until the roads dry up so I can fully feel the gains.....then on to stage two!

Very cool. I think it's great and just adds to the fun being able to experience the stages.
Stay dry

I had the GIAC Stage 2 with EP exhaust for the past 2 months and I just installed Cobb's Stage 2 software yesterday.

A full, totally unbiased, review between the two tunes will be coming soon.

My impression as well. Did stage 1 Cobb and honestly didn't think I needed to upgrade to stage two. Even the stock exhaust sounded better with just stage 1. And after installing stage 2 I felt a big difference and am now waiting to experience others with more advanced power before moving to stage 3. Again I don't think i need any more power but we shall see!

I have sharkwerks exhaust and mine got louder as well. Throttle response is better and turbo spool quicker! I get my high flow cats installed this Wednesday...... And then on to stage 2!

I was able to get a better impression today of the stage 1 Cobb with dryer roads. The increased power and torque is immense. One thing that I am now noticing is a squat in the rear of the car under WOT. Front tires were breaking loose more than usual....

Other than the Cobb Stage 1 tune this is an otherwise stock 991 turbo (non S) with about 9,000 miles on it, running 93 octane Shell gasoline on a Mustang Dyno. The only real disclaimer is that it was cold in the dyno booth, about 48 degrees. The numbers are HUGE, 518 HP and and 666 ft pounds of torque. I am in GA around 1,000 feet above sea level. The dashed lines are the stock run the solid lines are the tuned run.
