Seeing a few threads of members trying differents mods I guess the mods that are really putting good gains on our 991's (beside exhaust and tune) are IPD Y pipe and now upgrade turbos.
Any real proof that any other mod is good on our cars?
Limit on our PDK and engine is 650whp and 700wtq on Mustang Dyno, right???

Ha Ha Hermano yes I would do both the IPD Y and Plenum. Proven!! Also you'll need the added intake capacity when doing the By Design Billet turbo upgrade. SamboTT will steer u right as this is largely unchartered territory for the 991. Gonna fly.
Only wheel Hp I've seen is on the IPD site which was done on stock application.

Install it, dyno it and if you don't like it send it back they have a satisfaction guarantee. I have no skin in this game but that's a pretty decent offer if you ask me.

Is there any proof the IPD goodies really work?
Most all major tuners/venders support IPD parts. I have had great experiences and results with them for years. Haven't heard of any customers who did not appreciate gains on the 991 for example. Especially with specific tunes in some cases. Personally I guarantee them.
But to answer your question, no.
A lot of us have been looking for actual proof for a while now and it's nowhere to be found.

I have it but have no idea if it actually adds any power. I would love to see Dyno runs of stock plenum versus the IPD plenum other than from IPD itself.
Significantly, a while ago I had forwarded IPD the multiple threads on here questioning or criticizing the Plenum with specific points. They promised to write back on the boards but tellingly, never did.

I was profoundly disappointed as a CUSTOMER with IPD that they did not even attempt to defend their product.
I will let IPD chime in. But I think one of the issues are that 991 turbo customers are not as available to put their car on the Dyno before and after. I would be willing to offer a special price to someone who would like to do that. However it's also complicated on this car. As some tunes don't allow full potential unless the car is mapped for the upgrade. Gets tricky. Some customers are able to report the benefits after driving the car both ways. Hope that helps.
Love my IPD and highly recommend the mod for anyone looking to raise the bar on Power. Used by most of the relevant names in tuning the 991 Turbo for big power. If you are looking for a dyno sheet and one is not available to your liking.... make the improvement and schedule a dyno day. If you are highly dissatisfied or disgusted, sell it/ do not consider it and wait for something comparable to hit the market. Ultimately it's a choice and no best fit for everyone.
We all know how JM annihilated with a simple Cobb tune (no intercoolers, no Intake mods, stock tires, without a kill file, etc)....
Sorry WCC back on topic.
