tach/cut-off at red light

Couple of questions that I have came across today while driving my car. I have only had it a few weeks but today I noticed in normal mode when you are running a steady pace an approach traffic and let off the gas pedal the RPMS drop to idle until you press the gas again. Is this normal?? Also, when I stopped at a red light the car quits so to speak and then picks right back up when you press gas again. I am sure it is something I have pushed that is causing both situations but I have not found in the book what it could be. In sport mode this does not happen in either case. I assume its some type of eco-mode or something.

You have your Eco mode turned on. It's on the right side of the shifter - the button right under the spoiler retraction button. It may be on by default, which means you may have to go the dealer to have them reverse the default mode in programming.

Try turning it off and see if it stays in that mode when you turn ignition off then back on. If it does, keep it off so you don't have the car shutdown each time you stop, unless you want it. If it doesn't hold it's memory, see your dealer to change the default to off. It can only be done by the dealer IIRC.

It will not work in sport or sport plus...

Thanks, I will try that I saw that on and I figured it might have something to do with it. I will try to turn it off next time I drive it!
