Thumbs up Cobb Stage3 OTS Maps - December Release

Hey guys!

Back again with another update to our ever expanding OTS map lineup! This latest update expands to include stage3 maps, which are catered for you guys out there who are running a Stage3 parts configuration (aftermarket exhaust, upgraded intercoolers). These maps are designed to work with most aftermarket exhausts and upgraded intercooler combinations. Although the OTS gains are impressive we all know by now every car is slightly different, even in stock form, fine tuning by a Cobb certified ProTuner will likely net even more torque and power for an optimally running car on the fuel of your choice. These maps will come in 91, 93, and 100 octane variants.

Sam@ByDesign has already taken the initiative and created his own stage3 maps for the parts packages he sells with great success. These maps have been out for a few months now. We encourage all of our retailers to do the same!

The stage3 maps will be released this month and will come pre-loaded on all future Cobb Accessports once released. For the hundreds of you that have a Cobb Accessport already for your 991 Turbo and 991 Turbo S all that is needed is a simple Accessport update and ecu reflash to take advantage of the new maps. All of which can be done in the comfort of your own home without having to travel to visit a dealer.

As always, Accessport ECU updates are free!

Well onto the numbers:

Cobb Stage3 93oct OTS v101(Upgraded Exhaust & Upgraded Intercoolers) vs. Stock Calibration (Stock Parts)

The Stage3 map has a staggering peak torque increase of 126 ft/lbs or 23.7% and a max torque differential of 175 ft/lbs or 36.2% at 4040RPM over the stock calibration.

Peak horsepower also sees a dramatic increase of 110hp or 24.4% and a differential hp gain at 4040RPM of 133hp or 36%.

These values are all measured at the wheels on our Mustang Dyno located in Southern California. We choose not to extrapolate crank numbers based on wheel power as it does not accurately portray real world scenarios. In general we normally only supply percentage gains as these will stay consistent regardless of the dyno used.

With our industry leading testing, logging, and R&D we have proven that supplying the community with a wealth of knowledge works in great favor for the end user! It has also allowed the competition to become more comfortable pushing the limits of torque as we continue to research and supply the public with information related to the abilities of this motor.

As always feel free to reach out to us anytime with any questions you may have!
