Wannagofast Ocala Jan. 23-24, 2016 - My GIAC Stage 2+ 991 Turbo S-Results/Videos
well i have never had a car this powerful so it will be starting at about 800 hp and see how it feels then slowly crank the boost. i know when these cars get high hp. suspension has to be dialed in just right and I'm just guessing were it has to be for now

The Jumbolair runway is horific. They actually bought a street sweeper but it just caused more issues as it broke loose more asphalt as we expected. This is one reason I didn't bring the 918 or Turbo S. However, I did bring the Gt3RS and traped 149 and change. The best event is TX ( sulphur Springs) as you will get the best speed possir. Next up VA! Concrete runway but elevation suck....

It was frustrating to race my TTS with the lack of traction. Yours is a lot more powerful if you are running the NOS and water meth and would have slipped and slid even worse
We ran 164.83 last year at ocala without nitrous and using the techart piggyback. Since we added nitrous (70 shot), meth, and Cobb tune by Rob, we are over 172. Hopefully some new goodies will get us to unseen levels. Hole we can get it done by Ga! We will make a run within the next month to see if we can dip into the 9's before we go to work on the 991. I look forward to seeing everyone in va. I will bring the 918 and possibly the turbo S.

172 is 918 territory. Wow
The 918 ran 177.5 in TX. Concerning the turbo S, with the techart powerkit, FVD Headers, tubi exaust w/ 200 cell cats, IPD, Y-Pipe, cold air, and I think I might have had meth at that time we ran the 164.8 MPH. We ran 168-169 in Ga after that with nitrous and Cobb tune with trofaeo R tires. Then in TX, we ran the 172.xx.
Hey Scott, hope you had a good time. Your car did great. As you know, you can't compare half-mile mph to any other event. Principally because everyone sets up timing equipment differently. A vBox run would tell more of a story. Coalinga runs a modest negative slope like -0.7 degrees. If wannagofast runs uphill and traction is a problem then I wouldn't feel bad about a 161.

172 on stock turbos and stock ICs is insane
