A better hose clamp was employed. Here is a picture of it. In addition, we replaced the hose that had previously been on there and was the subject of the posts you found. This is a picture of the setup after it had shifted a little bit but I was able to reseat it easily. After that it didn't move but also, in that picture, there was no turbo leak. The diverter valve on the left side had failed but that was another story on a different thread. Anyway, I think the clamp shown there was more effective than the stock one.

Thank you. I read the other post of yours regarding the failed/almost failing DVs as well. I tightened it as much as I could w/ hand last night... did a couple of full boost passes today and it was ok but I think I'm headed to the route you went. Thank you for the info.
